Welcome to TeXable, a platform that aims to streamline LaTeX writing. TeXable enhances the efficiency of writing in LaTeX by integrating intuitive GUI components to replace repetitive code, allowing users to focus on content creation.

TeXable features a text editor with syntax highlighting, package-based autocompletion, search and replace functionality, among other tools. It enables local compilation using PDFLaTeX for quick feedback. The app downloads the TeXLive distribution as needed, enhancing user experience despite its substantial size of approximately 760MB.

TeXable provides four main GUI components to facilitate TeX writing: the Equation Editor, Figure Inserter, Matrix Maker, and Table Generator.

The Equation Editor addresses the common issue of recompiling an entire document for a minor equation modification. It allows users to preview equations individually, saving time by compiling one equation at a time before integrating it back into the main document.

The Figure Inserter simplifies the creation of complex figures through a user-friendly interface. Users can make real-time changes and view the TeX output instantly. The tool supports importing images from various sources and enables freehand drawing for custom images, which can be easily edited and added to projects.

The Matrix Maker and Table Generator eliminate the need for lengthy code when dealing with tables and matrices. Users can specify dimensions, customize values, apply styling, and generate TeX code through the GUI for seamless integration into documents.

Upon completion, projects can be exported to Google Drive, iCloud Drive, shared with other applications, or sent via email or messaging services. The app supports importing existing projects in .zip format and automatically saves files to iCloud Drive to prevent data loss during app reinstallation.
